Back button on Android should have same function as back arrow at top left in app. One handed opperation.

there should be also a “share to” submenu in the app on the roadmap, for easier sharing photos/links/media through it 🙂

In notifications, a ‘mark all as read’ button. If it already exists, possibly needs to be made more obvious on the iOS app.

Reactions for activity posts and comments
We are working to extend the “Likes” functionality in the activity feed to include reactions, allowing users to select emojis such as Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, Angry, etc. In addition, we will be implementing support for likes and reactions in activity comments.
Edit activity comments
We are planning to add the ability for members to edit their own activity comments.

Pin posts Feature Coming To App This Week!
Pin posts to the top of activity feeds live on Website
- Pin Posts feature will allow site admins to pin specific posts to the top of activity feeds, possibly within a new “Pinned” tab.
- Pin Posts feature will allow group organizers to pin posts in the activity feeds of groups they manage.

VSNetwork App and Website Roadmap For 2024
Swipes and gestures
We are planning a number of swipes and gestures to improve the usability of the VSNetwork App, such as:
- Press to copy
- Press to save media
- Swipe to mark as read, delete, etc
- Swipe to go back a screen
This feature will also include Haptic Feedback, which enhances the experience with your phone by implementing a vibration as you interact with elements on the phone.
Generated Profile Pictures Using Your Member Names
We are considering implementing a new feature which will generate profile pictures for members using the initials in their name. For example, if the member’s name was “John Smith”, their default profile picture would say “JS”.
Order the activity feeds (by trending, most comments, etc)
With this new feature, you’ll be able to order your activity feeds by a number of different options, including:
- Trending – order by posts with the most recent likes and comments
- Most Comments – order by posts with the most comments in a time period
- Most Likes – order by posts with the most likes in a time period
With these options, posts will be bumped higher up your feeds, the more engagement they receive.
New Header Bar For The VSNetwork App
We are exploring implementing a header bar into the VSNetwork App, allowing apps to have a persistent logo, menu and icons across screens.
Dark Mode For The VSNetwork App
We will planning to add support for Dark Mode throughout the VSNetwork App, syncing with iOS and Android settings. This will allow all screens in the app to be displayed with dark colors for a relaxing experience at night.
